GIEFFE-EVO is an automatic machine to sew the interlining along the length of the tie with one or two threads.
All the range of Frigerio e Corazza’s machines are projected and built carefully thanks to a specialized team of
technicians, aiming to obtain the best quality product, functionality and ease of use together with a high
reliability and precision.

MAIN FEATURES:

  • All the units are run through a digital system to synchronize all the steps of the working cycle, minimizing the use of specialised operators.
  • It’s equipped with 6 templates that can be changed, depending on the tie size, just in few seconds.
  • High productivity: the average working cycle lasts 10 seconds.
  • The needle-threading unit rotates so that the needle can be threaded even if the eye of the needle is not
    perpendicular to the needle threader.
  • The automatic system can be set for the sewing with 1 or 2 threads how it used for the ties sewn by hand.
  • It’s equipped with an adjustable lubrication system of the needle to extend its life.
  • There are 7 adjustable lasers to center the tie and check its length.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

GIEFFE-EVO is an automatic machine highly technologic: all the engines are controlled through encoders
and run by a PLC central unit that monitors the real-time working cycle. All this system enhances the
performances and reduces the energy consumption.
It doesn’t need mechanic/manual set: the touch screen panel is used whenever it’s necessary to modify
some parameters of the machine.
A remote-control kit allows to get in touch with the remote assistance system.
Thanks to interconnectivity to the computer system, instructions or software parts can be uploaded;
moreover, it can be easily integrated with other machines of the working cycle.

The automatic system can be set for the sewing of the small end with one or two threads:

TOUCH SCREEN

  • The touch screen allows a simple and immediate access to all the information.
  • The home page displays the number of ties sewn, how the engines work, the template shape working,
    time and date.
  • Through the function selector you’ve got access specifically to the system controls. It reports any
    malfunctions or failure of the machine system.
  • In the event of emergency stop or absence of voltage during the working cycle, pressing RESET selector
    the machine places automatically on the start position.

It’s equipped with 7 lasers that can be easily adjustable.

ROTATING NEEDLE-THREADING UNIT


The needle-threading unit rotates so that the needle can be threaded
even if the eye of the needle is not perpendicular to the needle
threader.

DRIPPING LUBRICATION SYSTEM OF THE NEEDLE

  • It’s equipped with an adjustable lubrication system of the needle to
    extend its life. This dripping system is adjustable in quantity and
    frequency.
  • The lubrication is all over the length of the needle.

TEMPLATE EXCHANGE

  • It’s equipped with 6 different templates that can be changed depending on the tie size requirements.
  • To create a new model of tie it’s not necessary to remove the templates: the 6 templates created previously by the producer basing on the shape of the tie to be made, will be saved by the computer and can be called-up in 5 seconds.
  • This system helps saving time to the companies that need to sew different shape/size of ties.
  • To create a new model of tie, it necessary to press the selector Function on the touch screen, then work on the back of the machine and place the templates as needed.

DETECTING SENSOR

  • There is a detecting sensor adjustable depending on the type of thread used. This system detects if the tie hasn’t been sewn properly.
  • When this type of problem occurs, the machine stops and the displays the info on the screen.
